Common faults and solutions of electromagnetic suction cups

Based on the common problems with electromagnetic suction cups, six common methods for suction cup malfunctions have been compiled, hoping to be helpful to you.

All motors cannot start

Check if the fuse may be blown, the connector may be loose or burnt, etc. Check if the Qs contacts of the power switch are intact, if the wiring is loose or scattered, and if there is any grease on the contacts.

Cooling pump motor cannot start

The XPI connector is damaged, it should be repaired or replaced. If the cooling pump motor is damaged, it should be replaced and repaired.

Electromagnetic suction cups lack attraction

FUI or FU4 melt blown, so it needs to be melted. The XP2 connector has poor contact and should be repaired or replaced. Two adjacent tubes installed in the rectifier are short circuited. At this time, the temperature of the short-circuit tube and rectifier transformer is high, and the output voltage is zero. The rectifier tube should be replaced. The rectifier is installed with two adjacent open circuit tubes. When the output voltage is zero, the rectifier tubes should be replaced. The electromagnetic suction cup coil is broken, so the suction cup should be repaired or replaced. The KV coil of the undervoltage relay is open, and the relay should be repaired or replaced. The oil pump motor cannot start

Or if the SB2 contact is poor, it should be repaired. If the KMI coil of the contactor is burnt out, it should be repaired or replaced. If the electromagnetic suction cup burns out the oil pump motor, repair or replace the motor.

The grinding wheel motor cannot start

The front bearing of the grinding wheel motor is worn and the motor is locked. The bearing should be repaired or replaced. The excessive grinding amount of the grinding wheel causes the electromagnetic suction cup motor to stall, and the grinding amount should be controlled. If the thermal relay FR2 is incorrect or improperly adjusted, the thermal relay should be selected and adjusted according to the rated current of the grinding wheel motor.

Suction cups lack attraction

The suction cup coil is partially short circuited, and the rectified voltage is high when unloaded. However, when connected to the suction cup, the voltage drops significantly (less than 110 volts), so it should be repaired or replaced with a damaged suction cup rectifier installation component.
